MEET TYLER CHAPMAN

Hi, I’m Tyler Chapman. I grew up on a family farm in Ekron, KY, where I learned the value of hard work, practical thinking, and the fine art of not arguing with a stubborn cow. Those early lessons shaped who I am and how I tackle challenges today.

After graduating from Western Kentucky University, I built a career in banking, where I specialized in untangling complicated systems and solving problems for real people. These days, I’m pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the University of Kentucky, with a certificate in Public Financial Management—because who doesn’t love a thrilling spreadsheet?

In 2024, I ran for state representative in Kentucky’s 27th House District to bring common sense and decency to Frankfort. I didn’t win, but I learned something important: making Kentucky a better place isn’t tied to just one campaign. This blog is my way of keeping the fight alive by breaking down policies, highlighting solutions, and occasionally calling out the nonsense coming out of Frankfort.

When I’m not thinking about policy, I love traveling (preferably somewhere with great food) or channeling my inner Ina Garten in the kitchen. A little olive oil and a lot of butter can fix almost anything—except bad legislation.

Thanks for visiting. Let’s get to work.
